Ubuntu in VPS Servers
We provide Ubuntu with all of our VPS servers and based on what system requirements your web applications have, you're able to get the 32-bit or the 64-bit release of the OS with just a few mouse clicks throughout the registration process. If you get your server without a website hosting Control Panel, the sole piece of software which will be installed along with Ubuntu will be the Apache web server software, so you're able to use a console to gain access to the server and to build a software environment of your choice. When you order your server with the Hepsia hosting Control Panel, you'll have a world wide web interface with which you'll be able to manage almost everything as quickly as you manage a regular shared account and all the required MySQL, FTP and e-mail server software will be pre-installed, but the root access to the server will be limited. If you do not have much experience, or in case you do not wish to waste time on VPS control procedures, you'll be able to reap the benefits of the Managed Services upgrade, that includes every week Ubuntu Operating System upgrades.
Ubuntu in Dedicated Servers
Ubuntu is among the OS options that you will find on our registration page when you decide to acquire one of our dedicated servers. We'll set up the 32-bit or the 64-bit release, so as to satisfy the system requirements of the apps which you wish to set up on the server. You can also choose the software which will operate on your machine, as we will set up only the Apache web server software, so the rest can be custom-made software of your liking. You'll be able to install the latter without problems by using a Secure Shell console, as you will receive root-level access and you will have full control over your hosting server. You can set up a web hosting Control Panel as well and manage some things through a graphical interface, as long as it can work on an Ubuntu-driven machine. To make things easier, we also supply a Managed Services upgrade, which, among other things, includes OS upgrades.
